SMC Visitor Policy

Visit Your Loved Ones
A family member, friend, or other individual provides emotional, physical, and/or spiritual support for the patient during the course of the clinical care and is invaluable for the patient’s recovery and well-being.

Visitors are encouraged to spend time with friends and family members. Visiting hours are from 7:00am – 8:30pm every day of the week.

ICU Visiting hours are at 6:00am, 10:00am, 2:00pm, and 8:30pm for 30 minutes. Only 2 visitors are allowed per time slot.

Admissions Process

Your admission to Savoy Medical Center begins at the request of your physician or through our Emergency Room Department. Our goal at SMC is to be your provider of choice. In today’s world, you have many choices, and your health care needs should be trusted with a team that will treat you like one of their family members. Savoy Medical Center is here to partner with you to individualize your health care needs and increase your quality of life. To better serve our patients, upon entering the main lobby you will sign in at our friendly registration desks.

The Admission Desks are located in the main lobby area at the front of the hospital. One of our friendly staff will be there to greet you.

Admissions are completed at the Hospital Admission Desk Monday thru Thursday from 7:00am to 4:30pm and Friday from 7:00am to 2:30pm.

Emergency patients will be registered at the ER desk or at triage in our emergency department.

On completion of the admission process, an identification bracelet will be placed on your arm. For your safety, we ask that you wear it for the length of your hospital stay.
What To Bring
Items you will need during the registration process:
  • Driver’s License or Photo ID and Social Security Card
  • Health Insurance Information, including Insurance Card(s)
  • Payment method for deductibles and copayments. We accept Cash, Check, and, credit cards.
Items needed for your admission stay:
  • Personal belongings such as pajamas, gowns, robe, undergarments, socks, slippers, and preferred toiletries should be brought from home.
  • Current Medications
  • Advanced Directive (if you have one)
We request that you please leave your jewelry, money, and other valuables at home. The hospital will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal items.

As part of the 2019 IPPS Final Rule, The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires hospitals to make a listing of standard hospital charges available online.

Savoy Medical is committed to helping you understand and prepare for potential out-of-pocket costs related to medical services you or a family member may receive at our hospital, and we have resources available to assist you.

The amount listed is not necessarily reflective of your actual financial responsibility.

Insurance & Billing
