Savoy Medical Center (SMC) New Horizons has specialized in the treatment of emotional and behavioral disturbances for over 30 years. Our team of professionals identifies and treats mental illness using a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring each individual receives a tailored treatment plan formulated just for him or her. Our two levels of treatment for adults and geriatric patients include inpatient hospitalization and an intensive outpatient program. Treatment goals are individualized and met through comprehensive psychiatric coverage with structured therapeutic interventions.
Our experienced team of professionals — including psychiatrists, certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed social workers, and counselors, board certified psychiatric RNs, LPNs, a recreational therapist and mental health technicians — has over 800 years of combined experience.

Referrals & Payment
Referrals can be made for patients ages 21 and older by primary care physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, nursing facilities, and concerned family members. Following a referral, a free assessment will be made by our professional health care team to determine the most appropriate level of care for you or your family member.
Payment options include Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and private pay.

At Beyond the Horizon (BTH), we welcome each client with open minds and hearts. BTH is a 24-bed, 28-day residential substance abuse and rehabilitation program accepting clients ages 18 and older. We specialize in the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction and recovery. We understand every person’s journey to recovery is a unique and personal one. It is our goal to give our clients the best tools, resources and guidance necessary for a successful recovery. Admission is on a formal voluntary basis.
